It was great seeing you all this month. Sorry the notes are late in reaching you. Tonight is Labor Day evening and I just getting to our notes.

As I mentioned I am preparing a notebook filled with notes and brochures and catalogs from our meetings. I will bring it to each meeting so that you can use it to see what you missed or to track down something we mentioned that you may have forgotten. Until I learn of an easier way to organize all of our information for easier access I guess the notebook will have to serve us.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

UFC Newcomers Coffee is Wednesday September 10th, 10-12
UFC annual tea is at the Chancelor’s and is on Thursday, October 2 nd 4-6 p.m.

*****section leader’s note: I took in a few items on Saturday 8/31 and was told they were NOT accepting anything that day. That was the first time I took items to sell and ss of this writing it is the last. It was such a hassle making sure everything was perfect and the forms were filled out correctly that it makes more sense for me to donate it. It was actually a huge disappointed for my 11-year- old daughter.


It was reported that Dumars and Redwood Barn Nursery are not at the top of our list.

HINT – to remove grease spot on clothing – example olive oil --- apply whaite chalk and leave on for one day

Five Figs owner, Pam Pacelli has a copy of a magnificent chandelier. I will call her to find out where it came from.

We were reminded how important it is to keep our spending within Davis or Yolo County whenver possible. Don’t forget West Sac is Yolo County as is Woodland. There is a Lowe’s in West Sac.

Electrician – R&D Electric 916 965-9008 did a great job for the Kniep Family. Actually came out and worked on Sunday. He was intelligent and pleasant. He kept his word, his price was reasonable and he cleaned up any mess. (see attached)
